The online shopping magnate has joined the current trend of restaurant meal deliveries in the UK’s capital city.

With the success of apps such as UberEats and Deliveroo, it does not come as a surprise that Amazon is trying to cash in on the success of delivering food for restaurants for high-quality takeaway.

Much like Uber, Amazon started doing delivery in America last year. The service allows for Amazon Prime customers, who pay an annual fee of £79 for a subscription to make use of the same day delivery offer to get food delivered within an hour from local restaurants, with no additional charge.

The company also launched fresh food delivery back in June with big company Sainsburys and 50 small business also.
